Πρόσφατες έρευνες του «Spotify» για τα τραγούδια που προκάλεσαν σύγχυση στο κοινό με τους στίχους τους, αποκαλύπτουν πως όσοι ακούνε μουσική έχουν ένα μικρό πρόβλημα με τα αυτιά του, ή πως πολλοί μεγάλοι stars του παγκόσμιου πενταγράμμου θέλουν μαθήματα ορθοφωνίας!
Ένα από τα πιο αστεία παραδείγματα, είναι το «Sweet Dreams» των Eurythmics. To 28% των ερωτηθέντων, σε ένα αρκετά μεγάλο δείγμα ανθρώπων, αντί να τραγουδούν «Sweet dreams are made of this», πίστευαν πως έπρεπε να λένε «Sweet dreams are made of cheese»!Αντίστοιχα, όταν η Rihanna έλεγε στις συναυλίες τις «We found love in a hopeless place», πολύ κόσμος στο κοινό κραύγαζε «We found dove in a soapless place».
